Although the weather does not suggest it, summer is quickly approaching. Your Music and Worship Committee and congregation would like to have special music for all worship services this summer!

        We need your help! If you would be willing to provide music, please fill out the sign-up sheet in the Fellowship hall.

        The next meeting of the Music and Worship Committee will be held on Monday, May 2, 2011, at 7:00 P.M. in room 104. Anyone interested in serving on this committee is welcome to attend.

        God has truly blessed this congregation will several talented individuals. It is always a pleasure to receive new insights of God’s gifts during worship as provided in various ways!

Ending World Hunger One Potluck at a Time

May 22, 9:30-11:00 Brunch Potluck

Bring your favorite brunch dish to share. Laura Mickelson spent the past year teaching in Sendai, Japan and will share her experiences of teaching and the March earthquake and tsunami.

        Donations will be given to Kids Without Borders and will directly support the survivors of Japan’s devastation earthquake and tsunami.

Eighty (80) Lutheran World Relief health kits were assembled and will be shipped with our quilts. Our congregation’s overwhelming generosity never ceases to amaze me. Thanks be to God! Watch for changes to the LWR health kit list when we resume collecting in the fall.

        Remember Food Pantry Sunday is every 2^nd Sunday of each month to collect canned food and cash gifts. Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth & action. I John 3:18
