William Taylor

William Taylor, 42, of Butte died Thursday morning in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 8, 1960, in Butte to Robert F. and Fay (Bucholz) Taylor. Bill attended local schools, graduating from Butte High in 1978 and later earning his degree in technical writing from Montana Tech in 1983.

Bill, along with his father, operated Editorial Review, a small publishing company. He was a published author of sev eral guidebooks and several articles about model building that were in national publica tions. He was keenly interested in models and worked with the model museum in Salt Lake City on many restoration projects.

Bill was second chair cellist in the Butte Symphony Orchestra and had a great love for all animals.

Survivors include his moth er, Fay Taylor, sister and brother-in-law Robin and Dave Jordan, all of Butte, and sever al cousins around the country. His father Robert preced ed Bill in death in 1995. Bill's remains are in Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home. Friends are asked to join with his family for funer al services at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Gold Hill Lutheran Church with Pastor Michael Borge officiating. Interment will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
